Job Description Job Description Our law group is growing and we are looking for a sharp attorney who will zealously represent clients in all areas of family law. You’ll assist individuals in a variety of situations such as navigating prenuptial agreements and attending court hearings for divorce, alimony/spousal support, and child support. The prime candidate will have experience with a range of sensitive legal issues such as child support, child custody, and domestic violence, and be able to maintain composure, negotiate, and argue effectively even in emotional and high-stress situations. Compensation: $85,000 - $105,000 yearly Responsibilities: Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process Qualifications: The right candidate meets all of the following qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school Georgia Bar License in Good Standing Organized and deadline-driven Ability to find creative solutions Proficient in Word and Legal Research Effective communication and negotiation skills About Company Located in south-metro Atlanta, specifically McDonough, Georgia, we are a boutique law firm passionate about everything family law.
