Job Description Job Description Description: We are currently looking for an experienced and personable individual to fill the position of Medical Assistant in our fast-paced clinic. This role is a significant part of our staff and is an important first point of contact for patients. The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting the physician, taking medical histories and providing a variety of primary care services including performing routine office procedures, administering vaccinations, ordering lab tests and preparing reports to be reviewed by the attending physician. Responsibilities: Manage patient flow in the office. Documentation. Prepare examination/treatment rooms for patients. Assist with medical procedures and treatments. Collaborate with other health care practitioners to ensure proper care of patients. Understand legislation and industry-specific standards related to medical practice.
