Performance Foodservice, a leader in food product distribution, is seeking a passionate and driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be crucial in maintaining and expanding our client base by offering our wide range of high-quality food products to both new and existing customers in the food service industry. You will use your expertise to execute sales strategies, meet sales goals, and enhance customer relationships across a diverse range of venues, from local eateries to nationwide establishments. Identify potential customers and develop new business opportunities in the food service market Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers by providing exceptional service and understanding their needs Achieve or exceed monthly and yearly sales targets Prepare and deliver sales presentations tailored to customer needs and preferences Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly Coordinate with logistics and support teams to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction Provide customers with updated product information, including new items and promotional products Strong sales capability with a proven track record Ability to analyze and interpret sales data Excellent communication and negotiation skills Customer-oriented approach with exceptional interpersonal skills Capable of working independently with minimal supervision Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Professional Sales certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Person - CPSP) preferred
