Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Cost Estimating and Cost Analysis Specialist to support our Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) program at Robins AFB, GA. The Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) is an intelligence enterprise system, comprised of 27 active duty, Air National Guard (ANG), and mission partner sites, interconnected by a robust communications infrastructure spanning the globe. The networkcentric, global enterprise provides 24/7/365 world-wide, Near-Real-Time (NRT) simultaneous Multi-Intelligence (Multi-Int) capabilities and products to Combatant Commanders (CCMDs).



The Cost Estimating and Cost Analysis Specialist shall be able to manage, oversee/lead, or perform scientific work that involves designing, developing, and adapting mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods and techniques. The work also involves analyzing management problems and providing advice and insight about the probable effects of alternative solutions to these problems. The primary requirement of the work is competence in the rigorous methods of scientific inquiry and analysis. Professional knowledge of, and skill in applying a wide range of theories, concepts, and methods of analytical, mathematical, or statistical principles and practices to military weapons programs.

Responsibilities



Use of routine cost estimating methods such as analogy, engineering or scientific methodology, and extrapolation
Use of cost estimating outputs to assess the impact various factors have on the costs to design, research, develop, operate, maintain, and dispose of a particular weapon system
Most appropriate phase of the budgetary cycle (planning, programming, justification, execution, etc.) for initiating new programs
Analyze all elements affecting costs for a project of limited scope
Analyze Contractor financial data using Earned Value Management (EVM) measures of merit to determine program viability with respect cost and schedule performance
Analytical processes, such as: setting up the problem; conducting background research; collecting and reducing data; displaying data for analysis; formulating mathematical expressions; and drawing conclusions
Use of the Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) Suite to perform all program office estimates and analyses is mandatory for working in the Digital Directorate.

Qualifications



An active SECRET security clearance is required.


One of the following Education/Experience criteria must be met:

BA/BS, and 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed
OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications


For Cost Estimating and Cost Analysis positions, the candidate shall have a BS/BA with 21 semester hours in quantitative analysis courses, plus 3 semester hours of Calculus.
Willingness to travel if required.
