The incumbent manages the industrial plant equipment (IPE) maintenance program for the Depot Maintenance Activity Group (DMAG). Examples of specialized experience include performing administrative functions in support of the manufacturing, assembling and repairing of aircraft structural components. This experience must have been at a level of difficulty and complexity sufficient to demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of this position. It may have been gained in the private sector, volunteer service, military service, and/or government service, etc.**OREDUCATION:** Successfully completed master's or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.B. or J.D., if related to the position. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts with your application.**AND****FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:** Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-?grade requirements to be considered eligible. Ability to interpret specialized documentation and descriptions pertaining to equipment7. Ability to plan, conduct and record surveys and inspections8. Ability to communicate orally and in writing9. Skill in writing technical descriptions of equipment10.
