Job Title Senior Systems Engineer- Sustainment Job Type Full-time Location Warner Robins, GA 31098 US (Primary) Education Bachelor's Degree Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Category Information Technology Job Description Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is seeking a Systems Engineer at the Senior-level to provide systems engineering and technical support for branch-level engineering analysis, liaison, and management of high level day-to-day technical system engineering operations, for programmatic and IT systems responsibilities and data in support of the USAF Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) programs and projects located on Robins AFB, GA. This position will support the government customer in an Advisory and Assistance (A&AS) role to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) based on an understanding of the current USAF transition in an ever-changing and dynamic status of Command, Control, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C2ISR). The Systems Engineer will work in an engaging, high-tech support environment to manage transformation from a customer OEM-focused hardware/software exploitation to a standards-based modular IT infrastructure hosting customer systems and applications. The Systems Engineer will advise and recommend the IPT on specific support requirements and will interact with customers to determine requirements and evaluate system engineering issues, problems, modification and recommendations. Contractor personnel shall provide A&AS to the Government on the following tasks: Apply the systems engineering foundations of computer science, including computer system architecture and system software organization, the representation and transformation of information structures, and the theoretical models for such representations and transformations to the AF DCGS architecture. Support the IPT by providing information on the design characteristics, limitations, and potential applications of systems having the ability to transform information, and of broad areas of applications of computing which have common and differing structures, processes, and techniques. Apply knowledge of models of computation, performance measures, systems architecture types, and levels of representation to recommend way forward for IPT decisions. Analyze technical documents for compliance with objectives and thresholds; articulate findings, and recommend remedies or alternatives. Review, analyze, and critique applicable technical documents for senior audiences such as, but not limited to, Program Executive Officers, Chief Information Officer, Chief Architect, and Chief Systems Engineers. Prepare/review technical documents for all Configuration Control Boards (CCB), and potentially Engineering Control Boards (ECB). Job Requirements 10 years of experience performing relevant tasks. Candidates must be able to brief to top government leadership, have excellent written and verbal communication skill sets. ITIL, Agile and Scrum certifications/training is desired. Willingness to travel, if required. Education Requirement: B.S. degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant Engineering-related degree.
