Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems sector is looking for a Manager Programs 1 to manage Electronic Warfare sustainment programs. This position is in Warner Robins, Ga.
The individual selected will support Electronic Warfare programs and site growth objectives to include:
--- Responsible for cost, schedule, technical performance and customer satisfaction on assigned programs
--- Provide support across all aspects of program operations - including staff and leadership meetings, Program Reviews, customer visits, etc.
--- Develop and implement required monthly/quarterly reporting
--- Coordinate staffing across process teams and with functional and site management
--- Identification, distribution, tracking, and completion of program requirements
--- Development and adherence to integrated master plans and schedules
--- Ability to operate in an ambiguous and dynamic environment; effectively develop solutions and identify optimal ways to address a task or issue
--- Strategic and proactive thinking; ability to anticipate potential challenges; ensure challenges are addressed in advance and create a contingency plan
--- Collaborate with the Program Leadership Team and possess the ability to influence without direct authority to produce results/outcomes
--- Pursue program and adjacent market growth opportunities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Management, Business or other relevant degree and 6 years related experience, or Master's and 4 years related experience supporting Government contracts and/or project management in other industries; Four additional years of related experience is accepted in lieu of degree
  • Proven experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Ga
  • Must be able to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time)

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
  • Experience/Familiarity with DoD programs or contracts
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, planning, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships with others
  • Ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment
  • The ability to balance and influence multiple competing priorities and individuals Salary Range: $103,300 USD - $154,900 USD

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
