Lead Specialist- Program Management

This position provides product support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's (AFLCMC) C-5M Super Galaxy Program Office at Robins AFB, Ga. Seeking a Program Manager with a minimum of 5 years' experience in United States Air Force Program Management, Cost and Schedule Analysis, and Risk Assessments. Duties for this full-time resource that can support the team daily at a professional level with all Supplemental Depot Capability administration needs include:

  • Strong skills in WBS development/modifications and tracking,
  • Building and publishing slides
  • Arranging and hosting meetings
  • Taking and tracking action items
  • Recording minutes
  • Document routing/coordination and invitations
  • Provide recommendations to ensure project information integrates into existing program strategy
  • Employ integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise to technical and acquisition efforts across a number of functional disciplines. Perform a range of program management activities, such as: gathering a variety of program information; conducting analyses; developing program strategies; milestone planning, tracking, and scheduling; establishing and maintaining databases

The Program Manager must have at least Five (5) years of USAF or DoD acquisition experience required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience can be used in lieu of a degree. At least one year of defense acquisition management experience must be within the last five (5) years. Candidate must possess the ability to work well as part of a team or with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with the DoD acquisition management lifecycle and DoD 5000.02, ISO 9000
  • Experience working as a program manager in AFLCMC
  • The Journeymen Program Manager must have at least Five (5) years of USAF or DoD acquisition experience required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience can be used in lieu of a degree. At least one year of defense acquisition management experience must be within the last five (5) years. Candidate must possess the ability to work well as part of a team or with minimal supervision.
