Job Description:

Who We Are:

Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering Section of the Electronics Integration and Cyber Technology Department in the Defense and Intelligence Division of Southwest Research Institute.

Objectives of this Role:

Manage and update project records and process tools Manage and monitor reporting/minutes, property, and deliverable schedules to ensure programs meet deliverable deadlines Manage and develop project management tools to include status, tracking, process, and reporting tool Develop, manage, and monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements Create, manage, and maintain databases/spreadsheets of project data Participate in proposal preparation and client briefings as directed

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

Coordinate, manage, and assist with all program management meetings and keep records of discussions and actions taken Assist PM with any duties that are needed to execute the program and track cost schedule and performance information Manage directory/data structures for program and maintain Create/maintain spreadsheets for tracking budgets, cost incurred, commitments, tracking actuals, invoices, labor, material, subcontracts, travel, etc. Approve material requests, track against spend plan, approve invoices for subcontractors, and track against plan.


Requires an Bachelors with a 3.00 GPA in Business or related 2+ years: Government Contracts Project Management and Administration and tracking the execution of Government contracts and ensuring compliance Experienced with Government Contract Data Requirements List, Data Item Descriptions, and contracting Excellent organizational and team building skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills Experience with Government proposal development is helpful Experience with Serena Team Track is helpful Advanced spreadsheet development for financial tracking; Must be Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, & Microsoft Project proficient. Experience with Government Contract Data Requirements List, Data Item Descriptions, and contracting Experience with Earned Value tracking, Gannt charts, and personnel loading projections. A valid/clear driver's license is required

Special Requirements:

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
