As the National Accounts Forecast Analyst you will be responsible for supporting and executing accurate demand forecasting strategies for large National Account customers. In this role, you will focus on ensuring inventory levels align with customer demand, support improvements in supply chain efficiency, and deliver optimized service to internal and external stakeholders. This is an onsite, 5 days a week role. Ideal candidates will be based out of our Atlanta, GA or Pittsburgh PA offices. Responsibilities: Demand Forecasting: Execute short-term and long-term demand forecasts for products, utilizing historical sales data, market trends, customer behavior, and external factors. Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage historical sales and inventory data to identify forecast trends, inventory levels, and key patterns in product demand. Utilize, reports and dashboards to communicate forecast accuracy, trends, and performance metrics. Data Quality & Procurement Alignment: Ensure data integrity and accuracy in entered cost, lead times, and supplier performance information. Collaboration with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with the sales, customer service, and local procurement teams to understand business priorities, customer requirements, seasonality and market conditions to incorporate into forecasts. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review forecast performance, challenges, and actionable insights. Provide clear and concise recommendations to optimize supply chain performance that support business growth and objectives. Customer Onboarding: Support forecasting efforts for large customer onboarding, ensuring accurate demand projections to support successful ramp-ups and achieve sustained customer satisfaction. Inventory Management: Ensure inventory and with forecast demand align to minimize excess stock and stockouts. Data Quality & Procurement Alignment : Ensure data integrity and accuracy in cost, lead times, and supplier performance. Financial Impact & Cost Optimization : Understand the financial impact of forecast accuracy, including cost savings, inventory carrying costs, and supply chain efficiencies. Technology & System Optimization : Use forecasting software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools to understand demand planning. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in purchasing, preferably in the distribution environment. Demand/Inventory analysis and forecasting experience. High user proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Must strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment, work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality of shared information and/or assignments.
