Senior Practice Manager, the candidate will serve as a strategic
partner to senior practice leaders, influencing the direction of
one of the organization's most dynamic and high-impact practice
groups. This is a high-visibility, high-opportunity role designed
for someone who enjoys building systems, driving operational
excellence, and supporting legal teams through effective practice
management. Key Responsibilities Partner with Litigation Practice
Group Leaders to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with
practice and organizational goals. Prepare, distribute, and present
meeting materials, agendas, performance reports, and strategic
updates. Manage scheduling and coordination of practice group
meetings, retreats, planning sessions, and team events. Oversee
work allocation, resource management, productivity tracking, and
associate workflow planning. Conduct assessments of group-wide
talent, expertise distribution, leverage ratios, and headcount
needs. Analyze and present both scheduled and ad hoc performance
metrics, including utilization and timekeeper trends. Conduct
regular workflow and professional development check-ins with
associates. Partner with recruiting, professional development, and
leadership teams on hiring, onboarding, evaluations, integration,
and coaching. Support partner-led training initiatives and develop
practice-specific learning programs. Lead Knowledge Management
projects within the Litigation practice. Collaborate with finance
on annual budget planning and monitoring. Act as liaison between
practice leadership and firmwide business services. Serve as
project manager for practice group initiatives, efficiencies, and
innovation efforts. Requirements A Bachelor's Degree is required A
MBA or JD is preferred A minimum of 5 years in a managerial or
supervisory role in legal, financial, or personnel management Prior
experience working with Litigation practices Ability to travel as
required Strong understanding of law firm economics, competitive
trends, and operational best practices Financial and analytical
skillset, including utilization, profitability, rate analysis, and
budgeting Ability to interpret, summarize, and present complex
quantitative information Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
Suite Benefits: Depending on the specific client, location, and
