Job Description:
Cargill is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead
our Software Engineering Center of Excellence (COE). This role
involves guiding the software engineering team in the development
of innovative IT solutions that support our global operations and
commitment to sustainability and efficiency. The successful
candidate will oversee project delivery, manage key stakeholder
relationships, and ensure alignment with business objectives. As an
Engineering Manager, you will drive strategic initiatives, foster a
culture of continuous improvement, and empower your team to achieve
excellence in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Lead the
software development lifecycle from conception to deployment.
Manage and mentor a team of software engineers and developers,
ensuring professional growth and project alignment. Collaborate
with various stakeholders to define project scopes and objectives,
aligning with business strategy and goals. Oversee the design,
development, and implementation of software solutions, ensuring
they meet quality and safety standards. Monitor key project
metrics, including ROI, timeline adherence, and resource
utilization. Champion the adoption of new technologies and
practices to enhance productivity and efficiency across the
organization. Strong leadership and people management skills
Expertise in Agile methodologies and software development best
practices Proficient in coding languages such as Java, Python, or
C# Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Ability to manage cross-functional projects and teams Excellent
problem-solving and organizational skills Medical Insurance PMP
certification (Project Management Professional) Certified
ScrumMaster (CSM) AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure
