PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Systems Engineering - Field Service Representative (FSR) will have the responsibility for providing in-depth technical assistance pertaining to the Advanced Integrated Defense Electronic Warfare Suite (AIDEWS) Weapon Systems through onsite at the Robins AFB, GA facility or by phone. Responsible for performing reliability engineering functions as well as developing moderate to high complex system level requirements, designs and verification plans for assigned programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
--- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the AIDEWS Weapons System suite to customer's and end users.
--- Ability to troubleshooting equipment, conduct repairs, and train maintenance personnel on the AIDEWS system.
--- Capture and manage all pertinent contractual requirements, analyze documentation, and conduct testing for systems, products, or sub-systems of moderate to high complexity.
--- Work cross-functionally with customers, engineering, program management, operations and other functional groups throughout all phases of project development/execution.
--- Create Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) plans as required.
--- Understand processes and tools for the development of new systems.
--- Generate and support estimates on complex system requirements.
--- Estimate, track, and report project costs and schedules.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
--- Expert ability to interpret Department of Defense published guidance, military standards, performance specifications, detail specifications, handbooks, and engineering drawings.
--- Experience in communicating complex information to end-users, customers and clients in both written and verbal formats.
--- Expert decision analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions.
--- Able to perform in high stress situations and handle deadline pressures.
--- Highly self-motivated and contributes to a positive work environment.
--- Willingness to take ownership of tasks and support efforts spanning multiple internal and external stakeholders.
--- Expert ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
--- Expert ability to coordinate and communicate with all team members, to include supervisors and management.
--- Works successfully in team-centric environments.
--- Working knowledge of tools such as DOORS, Jama, Subversion, SOLIDWORKS PDM, and Microsoft Office Suite.
--- Expert ability to follow corporate, company, and departmental polices, processes, and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
--- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer or Systems Engineering from an accredited institution and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
--- Eight (8) years direct experience supporting/maintaining AIDEWS Weapons System
--- Expert to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and Logistic Database Software(s).
--- Ability to travel up to 20%.
--- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance.
