This engineering position is for a role on our Application Software Engineering Team. In this role you will be supporting the APN-241 Radar Program. You will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team of engineers focused on the modernization and sustainment of the APN-241 system. Our ideal candidate will possess technical expertise and collaborative people skills with the proven ability to work within a technically diverse and fast-paced team. This position is located in Warner Robins, GAThis position may be filled at Level 2 or Level 3 Embedded Software Engineer.Your responsibilities will include:Develop, modify, and maintain software using software engineering best practices and standards.Software development including automated testing to facilitate and analyze large data sets.Participate in the full life cycle of software development, to include requirements development, modeling and design, software development, unit to CSCI testing, integration, formal system testing, release, installation, and maintenance.Apply technical expertise in solving complex integration problems.Frequent opportunities to interact with program management, external suppliers and/or government customers. Therefore, excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are essential to succeeding in this roleBasic Qualifications for Embedded Software Engineer:Minimum of 2 years of direct relevant experience with B.S degree; No direct relevant experience necessary with a Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent STEM related disciplineBachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent STEM related disciplineProficient in C/C++Proficient in all areas of formal software lifecycle process from requirements to testingMust currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level security clearanceBasic Qualifications for Principal Embedded Software Engineer:Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent STEM related disciplineMinimum of 5 years of direct relevant experience with B.S degree; Minimum of 3 years of direct relevant experience with Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent STEM related discipline; Minimum of 1 year of direct relevant experience with PhDProficient in C/C++Proficient in all areas of formal software lifecycle process from requirements to testingMust currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level security clearancePreferred Qualifications:Knowledge in RADAR systems and conceptsExperience in object-oriented analysis and designExperience using JIRA/Bitbucket and Git/Mercurial/Bazaar version control toolsExperience with Java programming languageExperience using LabVIEWExperience working in a fast pace, Agile environment with the ability to work on a cross-functional Scrum team focused on quality and capability deliveryExperience with Electronic Warfare (EW) principlesActive Secret Security ClearanceSalary Range: $73,400 USD - $110,000 USDSalary Range 2: $90,400 USD - $135,600 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
