Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Structural Engineer to join the Command and Launch Team. This position is located in Ogden, UT and supports the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here. What You'll Get To Do: The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the Launch Equipment shock isolation system analysis team while executing linear and nonlinear analysis scope using ABAQUS. Responsibilities will include: Defining required analysis tasking and schedule to sufficiently analyze the system against subsystem requirements. Define test objectives to support analysis verification. Review and sign off on the shock isolation analysis and drawings. Candidate will report to the subsystem lead to report technical and schedule status on a weekly basis. Experience performing non-linear shock analysis and seismic analysis US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher awarded or re-investigated within last 6 years Preferred Qualifications: Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB Experience with FEMAP Ability to navigate through NX 3D models and CPLM TeamCenter CPLM experience Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
