Job Description:
Are you a person who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves
organizing unforgettable experiences, and wants to be part of
something bigger than yourself? The Classic Center is looking for
energetic, detail-oriented Event Supervisors to help bring events
to life—from concerts and conferences to galas and game nights. Why
You’ll Love This Role: You’ll be the go-to person during live
events, making sure everything runs smoothly. You’ll work directly
with clients, staff, and vendors to turn plans into reality. You’ll
gain hands-on experience in event logistics, staffing, and client
relations. You’ll build leadership skills that look great on a
résumé and feel even better in action. What You’ll Do: Help plan
and execute events from start to finish. Communicate with clients
to understand their vision and make it happen. Coordinate staffing
and equipment needs (think lights, mics, tables, and more). Create
event layouts and outlines that keep everything organized. Be the
friendly face and problem-solver during events. Occasionally serve
as Manager on Duty—yes, you’ll be in charge! What We’re Looking
For: High school diploma or equivalent required. Currently enrolled
in a college program related to Event Planning, Hospitality, or
Entertainment Management (preferred). Strong communication skills
and a knack for solving problems on the fly. Leadership potential
and a collaborative spirit. Willingness to work evenings, weekends,
and irregular schedules. Perks: Real-world experience in a
professional event venue. Networking opportunities with industry
professionals. A dynamic team that values creativity, initiative,
and fun. Want to be part of the team that makes Athens’ biggest
events unforgettable? Apply now and let’s make some magic happen.
