Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor &

36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License:
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate or above EFM
Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in specialty - Travel experience
required - No first-time travelers Description: The unit has 12
labor beds, 5 antepartum beds, and 2 operating rooms. There is an
OB emergency room with 6 beds. The unit averages 150-200 births per
month. Nurses will follow AWHONN FHM System and utilize an OB Trace
EMR system. Charge nurses are generally outside the staffing grid.
OB techs are available to assist with procedures. Weekend
requirements include every other weekend. Call rotation will occur
with permanent staff. Scrub color is provided by the facility. A
neonatology team is available in-house 24/7. The unit caters to
high-risk to routine OB patients, along with antepartum patients
requiring prolonged stays. OR techs assist with C-sections and
other procedures. Lactation support is available for mothers. The
cancellation policy is 12 hours every 2 weeks. Charting is
conducted through a MEDITECH system. A BSN is not required for this
position. Trauma Level is relevant to the care setting. 5 Benefits
