Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position in Albany, Georgia. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment, providing care to patients who require a high level of monitoring and frequent assessment, but who aren't in critical condition. As a Travel IMC RN with Gifted Healthcare, you will be part of a team that is committed to supporting your career growth and ensuring that you are placed in positions that allow you to excel and enhance patient outcomes. Assess and monitor the health status of patients, including checking vital signs and administering prescribed medication. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and evaluate patient care. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens. Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all health and safety standards. Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff. Strong observational skills to accurately assess patient condition. Ability to operate advanced medical equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia. BLS certification (Basic Life Support). ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
