Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pre-Operative position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and multiple advanced certifications. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital Pre-Operative unit - Day shift with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week - Schedule is 5:30am to 6:00pm - 13-week assignment - No on-call responsibilities - Position focuses on pre-operative patient care and preparation - Time off (RTO) must be requested at time of application; changes cannot be made after offer - Travelers may not have previously worked as permanent staff within the last 2 years - Scrub attire will follow hospital requirements - References are required during onboarding but not for initial consideration /n /n Requirements/n - Active GA or compact RN license - Minimum 2 years of recent Pre-Op specialty experience - Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS, all through the American Heart Association - Not eligible if residing within 50 miles of the facility - Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before reapplying /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-661795.
