Position Job Title: CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant
Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: CVOR Duration: 15 weeks
Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years
preferred, 5 years expected License: GA or Compact license required
Certifications: BLS, CSFA or NBSTSA, NCCSA accepted Must-Have:
Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic experience required.
Privileging process required prior to start. Description: The
position requires a candidate to complete a privileging process.
The timeline for this process is approximately 120 days from the
signing of the contract. Candidates must have experience in
Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, and Thoracic specialties. Call is
required one day a week and one weekend every four weeks, subject
to change based on departmental needs. Candidates must float within
facility scope of practice and to the Main OR as needed. The
clinical candidate will be reviewed for fit and if they pass, they
will be sent to the manager for the final decision. Request Time
Off is limited to a maximum of 7 days during the contract. No
holiday requests for time off are accepted. Full compliance is
required to start on time. Candidates must be available to submit
necessary documents within 48 hours of contract signing. Two
supervisory references are preferred at the time of submission;
they must be a manager or above. Major holidays will require
availability to work unless prior arrangements are made. The role
accepts first-time travelers and local candidates. Unit management
reserves the right to make adjustments as needed. Requirements
