ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Albany, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 17 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Acute Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM • Every other weekend requirement • Holiday coverage as needed • Patient ratios of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both day and night shifts • Float to all acute care and cardio units for medical patients, or emergency department for acute care patient holds • 44-bed unit with 40 staff members • Work with CNAs at ratios of 1:8, generally 1:10 • Telemetry monitoring available but monitored on different unit • Must live within 75-mile radius from hospital based on driver's license address • Minimum 2 years experience in specialty required • Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (AHA) • Caribbean Blue scrubs required • MEDITECH EMR system (experience preferred but not required) • General orientation of 1 week including EMR training • Floor-specific orientation of 2 days • Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center providing acute care services with a focus on medical-surgical patient care.
