be considered. Provide expert perioperative nursing care in a
cardiovascular operating room setting within a high-acuity, Level 1
Trauma designated teaching hospital. This contract position offers
an opportunity to work in a technologically advanced surgical unit
equipped with state-of-the-art EMR and monitoring systems, focusing
on a wide range of surgeries including general, orthopedic,
neurosurgery, and cardiovascular procedures. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe and effective nursing care in 20 operating rooms
specializing in cardiovascular and general surgeries. Participate
in a challenging call rotation, averaging 14 calls every six weeks,
including holiday and weekend coverage. Collaborate closely with
surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Utilize advanced equipment including EPIC Optime EMR, Alaris IV
pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors. Adhere
to hospital protocols and complete a one-week orientation prior to
assuming responsibilities. Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least 2 years of experience
in general OR nursing; a minimum of 5 years preferred in
cardiovascular operating room nursing. Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credentials preferred. Strong
ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment
prioritizing safety and inclusion. Experience with cardiovascular
surgical procedures including open heart surgeries and vascular
interventions is highly desirable. Schedule & Details: 10-hour day
shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM. Contract assignment based in Warner
Robins, GA. Call requirements, weekend rotations, and holiday
coverage details to be finalized during interview. Free parking
