future.Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an experienced
Global Supply Chain Subcontracts Manager 1 to lead a diverse team
of professionals engaged in supporting a large and challenging
national defense portfolio of programs in support of the Aircraft
Sustainment. The position will be located in Warner Robbins, GA
with occasional travel as required to meet business unit needs.The
successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of
government contracting regulations and be prepared to perform with
minimal supervision as part of a procurement and subcontracts team
in support of proposal efforts that often require developing
solutions to complex problems.Roles and Responsibilities:Encompass
the full range of the procurement and subcontract acquisition
process including participation in strategic sourcing decisions,
domestic and international subcontracting, teaming agreement
generation and execution, and preparing requests for proposals
consistent with customer solicitations, federal statutes and
regulations, and enterprise policies and proceduresWill have
responsibilities for evaluating proposal submissions, identifying
risk and mitigation strategies, developing negotiation plans and
negotiating, and preparing subcontract files in compliance with
Northrop Grumman principles and operating practicesThe ability to
collaborate with program management and other multi-functional
teams is essentialWill manage a team of supply chain professionals
and oversee all aspects of Supply Chain for the Organizational
Unit, delivering status reports, act with a sense of urgency in
response to exigent requirements, applying supply chain knowledge
and experience to successfully navigate high pace and high level
expectationsAbility to educate program teams, direct reports, and
suppliers on processes, policies, FAR/DFARS, and procurement and
subcontracting principles is essentialBasic
Qualifications:Bachelors (BS/BA) degree with a minimum of 8 years
of progressive subcontracts/procurement experience, or Advanced
Degree with a minimum of 6 years equivalent experience; in lieu of
a degree, an additional 4 years of experience is required - 12
years total experienceSolid understanding of procurement
principles, policies, procedures, and regulationsCapable of working
in a fast-paced environment, able to multi-task, make decisions in
a timely manner and display strong interpersonal skillsSolid
knowledge of FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting
regulations is requisiteStrong organizational skills and
demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with myriad levels
of the organization including but not limited to developing and
delivering to sector, division, business unit and Customer
LeadershipAbility to maintain high level of confidence in the areas
of supply chain along with relative understanding of basic
projectMust be able to obtain and hold a Secret clearancePreferred
Qualifications:Advanced Degree and / or Professional Certifications
(CPSM, CSCP, CFCM, CPCM)Experience with SAP Procurement &
Accounting SystemsExperience on programs focused on Contractor
Logistics Support, Aircraft Maintenance and Modernization turnkey
support and 24/7 requirements2 years managing team of
subcontracting and/or procurement personnel preferredActive
Secret/Top Secret security clearance#NGSkillsSalary Range: $93,800
USD - $140,800 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary
bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to
reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share
in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director
positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition,
