The Warner Robins Subsystems and Software Sustainment operating unit pushes the boundaries of innovation, redefines engineering capabilities, and drives advances in our manufacturing area. Northrop Grumman benefits give you the flexibility and control to choose the benefits that make the most sense for you and your family.In this position, you will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.Responsibilities Include:- Develops estimate to complete (ETC) and prepares the estimate at complete (EAC) for the program area- Assesses the cost and schedule of the program; measures program schedule performance based on budget, program requirements, and priorities- Maintains the risk and opportunities register of the program- Monitors program area for compliance with program execution procedures- Generates proposal estimates; manages proposal effort; tracks proposal cost- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program managers, depot managers, and customers- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management, business management, program management, supply chain, and depot managementBasic Qualifications:--- Bachelor's degree (or higher) and at least 6 years of related experience--- Experience working in the aerospace and/or defense industry--- Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, and represent the program in internal meetings, and customers if requested--- Candidate must be able to foster collaborative working relationships to the benefit of the assigned program, operational unit, and business unit--- Ability to develop and control program plans and cost and schedule baselines that meet both program contractual requirements and stakeholder expectations.--- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products with emphasis on Excel and Power Point--- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearancePreferred Qualifications:--- A degree in a business program--- Demonstrated success in performing on a fast-paced proposal effort--- Experience in development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools--- Experience in assessing compliance to internal policies and procedures--- Experience using SAP and reporting toolsSalary Range: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
