Position Description/Job Responsibilities:* The Engineering Manager position is located in Warner Robins, GA* This position will provide leadership, guidance and training for Engineers and Analysts for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Centers (AFLCMC) Aircraft Sustainment efforts* The selected candidate will support multiple aircraft platforms for the System Program Offices located at Robins AFB* This position will review and adjudicate reliability research, analyze, organize, plan and administer various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more complex programs* The Engineering Manager will analyze complex contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements* Demonstrate the ability to collect, sort and analyze various qualitative and quantitative data* Work with government and contractor team members with airworthiness and ETAR supportRequirements/Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree* Minimum eight (8) years of experience in an aeronautical engineering position* Working knowledge of the following databases: Auto-Tar, J-RAMS, AFIRM, FSID, JEDMICS, ROCIT, ETIMS, GCSS-AF, IES, G081 and G097, etc. required* Proficient in MS Office and Project/Integrated Master Schedules* Successful past performance in managing complex USAF weapons system/engineering projects preferred* Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems and innovate solutions* Strong verbal, technical writing--and communication skills* This position may require some travel* Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance within six months of hire
