Northrop Grumman Technology Services is looking for a Quality Engineerto be a part of the Mission Assurance Team in Warner Robins contributing to the Maintenance and Modernization Operating Unit. Responsibilities include: * Ensure that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contract * Review technical documents, plans and reports to determine compliance with specified standards including Data Item Description (DID) and assess adequacy of the quality information or data. * Ensure that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. * Review, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to process, assembly, repair, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems. * Interface with manufacturing/production, repair, engineering, customer/DCMA, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met. * Support and participate in technical customer meetings (Kick-off meeting, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Technical Interchange Meetings, Test Readiness Reviews, Functional Configuration Audit, System Verification Review, etc.). * Perform metrics data collection and analysis. * Investigate problems and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. * Conduct reviews,inspection, testing, verification and validation on engineering processes and products * Work directly with supporting organizations (i.e. Supplier Quality Assurance, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, Material Management, etc. ) to address programs issues/concerns. * Conduct Quality Management System Audits per the AS9100 standard and CMMI compliance audits * Ensure developed software meets and complies with defined or standardized quality specifications within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Defines and monitors mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs. TSWR Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a technical field and a minimum of2 years of experience in Quality and/or Engineering related fields (Quality assurance, test, software/systems engineering) -OR- a Masters degree * Ability to read engineering drawings * Strong customer engagement skills * Ability to develop and present information to a variety of stakeholders and to package (arrange/assemble) data in a manner consistent with the target audience * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) * Demonstratedcoordination, organizational and problem solving skills * ISO 9001/AS9100 exposure * Working knowledge of CMMI * Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance * US Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications: * Active Secret Security Clearance * Engineering Degree * Experience with software/firmware quality * Experience with supplier quality * Experience supporting production and repair environments * Experience with Formal Qualification Tests * Experience with technical performance measures and requirement/specification management * Exposure to lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
