Northrop Grumman Technology Services is currently seeking an **SCA Engineering Technician 2** to join our growing team of qualified, diverse professionals in **Warner Robins, Georgia** . **Responsibilities:** + Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. + Utilizes hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. + Completes continuity checks on work in process and completed. + May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. + May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. + Work involves the ability to work from schematics, diagrams, rough sketches and verbal instructions. + Builds coils, transformers and other inductive assemblies by hand and may use winding machines. + Operates spray booth equipment to conformal coat circuit card assemblies. **Basic Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience + Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience soldering production work, and fabrication per IPC-A-610 standards + Must be able to obtain and maintain IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) certification once aboard + Able to wear safety gear, such as steel toed shoes and glasses. + Ability to handle and assemble small parts + Ability to pass a pulmonary test required for the use of respirators + Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing up to 50 lbs. + Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia **Preferred Qualifications:** + A minimum of 3 years' experience with soldering, production work, and fabrication. + Advanced proficiency with MS Word and Excel. + Experience training lower level technicians. + Experience working from schematics, diagrams, rough sketches and verbal instructions. + Experience building coils, transformers and other inductive assemblies by hand or use of winding machines. + Experience operating spray booth equipment for conformal coating circuit card assemblies.
