We are seeking a dynamic, engaging individual to join our extraordinary team in our GROW Summer Camp this upcoming summer. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide a safe aquatic environment for campers. Be responsible for the daily care and mentorship of campers during swim time. Enthusiastically participate in all program areas as assigned. Communicate and work with GROW Summer Camp staff members. CERTIFICATIONS Current certification in lifeguard training or equivalent. Current certification in swim instruction or related experience. Current certification in first aid and CPR. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & CAPABILITIES Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Ability to convey a dynamic, energetic, patient, and nurturing spirit with passion and skill to actively and positively engage students. Flexible, with the ability to work in a highly demanding, stressful environment. PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Successful background check, reference checking, and drug/alcohol screening clearance.
