A paraprofessional position is available at an elementary school located in Winder, GA, specifically supporting a behavior classroom setting. Candidates with experience working in behavior classrooms will find this role particularly suited to their skills. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY). Responsibilities: Assist classroom teachers in supporting students with behavioral needs Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of certified staff Provide one-on-one or small group support to enhance student engagement Monitor student progress and help maintain a positive learning environment Collaborate with teachers and staff to meet student needs effectively Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Must have one of the following: an Associates Degree or higher, at least 2 years of college coursework (60 semester hours), or a passing score on the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment Valid Georgia Paraprofessional License required Experience in behavior classroom settings is mandatory Willingness to complete district-required reference checks (three conducted checks needed prior to interview) Location: Winder, GA Elementary School setting This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success in a specialized educational environment.
