Group is seeing a professional Service Porter. The successful
candidate will assist the dealership by maintaining vehicles,
cleaning the service area, and providing basic customer assistance.
This individual will be responsible for tasks such as moving and
parking vehicles, cleaning both the interior and exterior of
vehicles, and ensuring the service department is tidy and
well-organized. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Maintenance and
Cleaning: This includes tasks like refilling tires and gas,
checking battery levels, washing and vacuuming vehicles, and
maintaining a clean and organized service area. Vehicle Movement
and Parking: Moving vehicles between service bays, the parking lot,
and the showroom is a core responsibility. Customer Assistance:
Greeting customers, providing basic assistance, and ensuring they
have a positive experience are also important duties. Documentation
and Reporting: Service porters may be required to maintain
documentation on vehicles, report any issues they find, and assist
with service write-ups. General Support: They may assist service
technicians with various tasks and run errands as needed.
Requirements: A valid driver's license is required. Strong customer
service skills are essential for interacting with customers. Basic
mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform light maintenance
tasks are helpful. Good organizational skills and attention to
detail are necessary for maintaining the service area and vehicles.
The ability to follow instructions, work independently, and
collaborate with other team members is important.
