information. The primary purpose of this position is to develop and
provide Center wide policy, processes, and guidance for requirement
controls issues, projects and taskings. Responsibilities Serves as
a directorate focal point for reparable-recoverable requirements
area to ensure effective program accomplishment considering
computation schedules and target dates. Serves as the directorate
focal point for quality and verification of reparable-recoverable
requirements. Encompasses implementation of ALC procedures and
development of procedures and development of procedures for
assigned areas, scheduling and directing quality control reviews,
and evaluating results of the process to ensure accuracy of MSF
Acquisition and Repair Budgets. Participates in meetings and
conferences and provides advice to others. Complies with safety
rules and procedures and performs work in a manner that embraces
the safety of the work area. Requirements Conditions of Employment
Qualifications Experience requirements are described in the Office
of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General
Schedule Positions, Group Coverage Qualification Standard for
Administrative and Management Positions and Inventory Management
Series 2010 positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this
period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the
closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized
experience at the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other
pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes performing
duties that demonstrate responsibility for evaluating current
inventory management systems in support of customer programs and
applying analytical and evaluative methods to resolve management,
funding, and supportability issues. NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day
rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days
of the closing date of this announcement. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE
(TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit
promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in- -grade
requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 level
is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12
level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS
position within the previous 52 weeks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND
ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the
basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or
competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of established
supply systems. (D200A) 2. Knowledge of a broad range of supply
program relationships and interrelated processes. 3. Knowledge of
acquisition processes, automated records and control systems,
material substitution criteria, and storage, issue, and disposal
processes. 4. Knowledge of specialized analytical methods and
techniques to resolve difficult inventory management issues and
problems. 5. Skills to interpret, adapt, and apply inventory
management guidelines. 6. Knowledge of budgeting, procurement, and
funding processes related to inventory management functions. 7.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. 8.
Knowledge of commonly applied inventory management principles,
procedures, techniques and practices. 9. Skill to apply common
analytical methods and techniques to resolve procedural inventory
management problems and issues. 10. Knowledge of the specialized
needs of the programs or operational areas supported. 11. Knowledge
of material, work sequences, and schedules in shops or other
industrial operations. 12. Knowledge of automated data system
design and evaluation techniques methods and procedures. 13,
Knowledge of safety requirements as outlined in applicaple safety
standards, regulations and/or technical orders. PART-TIME OR UNPAID
EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or
part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and
responsibilities in each position held and the total number of
hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and
unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National
Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other
organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious;
spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps
build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide
valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid
employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience,
